While the country celebrates the Indian hockey team’s bronze medal at the Olympics, a film on the legendary hockey player Dhyan Chand is in the works. Writer-director Abhishek Chaubey is working on the script of the film to be produced by Ronnie Screwwala. Speaking about the film Chaubey and Indian hockey’s win he said, “This is a great moment. Indian hockey has the legendary Dhyan Chand's legacy. He gave the sport of hockey an Indian identity. Our script is a tribute to the man and Indian hockey.” Chaubey said he is still writing the script and added, “The film will go on the floors in 2022 and we are yet to cast the actor for the role. I am doing a series right now followed by this film.
