The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) has dismissed the review petition of Deputy Director General Gyaneshwar Singh, head of the Special Enquiry Team (SET) of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The CAT declared the SET report, which led to a controversial CBI FIR against Sameer Wankhede, as unlawful and made adverse remarks against Singh. The CBI had registered a case against Wankhede and others for allegedly demanding a bribe from actor Shah Rukh Khan. Wankhede has also received death threats, prompting an investigation by authorities. The case remains under scrutiny.
